LLP "KAZAKH PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY "MEDSERVICE PLUS""
The Group of Companies "Medservice Plus" began its operations on the pharmaceutical market of Kazakhstan at the end of 1993 with establishment of LLP "Astana "Medservice" and then of the Kazakh Pharmaceutical Company "Medservice Plus". For a short period of time LLP "KPC Medservice Plus" as a distributor at the national level has become one of the largest and rapidly developing wholesale pharmaceutical companies in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Simultaneously with an active participation in the development of the Kazakhstan pharmaceutical market, "Medservice Plus" is successfully competing with the major distributors of medicaments, thanks to its personnel's enthusiasm and high professionalism.
· 1994 - our company was amongst the first two companies in Kazakhstan which obtained the license for work with narcotic and psychotropic agents throughout the territory of the Republic. Today we are the apparent leader in the area of provision of practically all the medical organizations with the above agents.
· December, 1994 - the first consignment contract was signed with the largest Eastern-European plant, Gedeon Rihter JSC, which has been supplying its products to the former USSR and then to the CIS countries since the year of 1953.
· 9th December, 1997 - the birthday of LLP KPC "Medservice Plus", which is now a recognized leader in the pharmaceutical market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
· March, 1998 - the first regional Branch Office of the company was established in Shymkent. It became "the first robin" in the program of development of the company's regional network. Today the company's branch offices are successfully operating in seven regional centers of the Republic.
· May, 1998 - removal into a new 5-level office-warehouse complex with the total area of 1500 sq m. Our special pride is a secured storehouse for narcotic and psychotropic agents, arranged on the ground floor of the building and satisfying all the necessary requirements.
· 23rd September, 1998 - an official opening and presentation of Joint Venture "Medservice-Rihter", which is one and only in Kazakhstan and the seventh in succession in the CIS countries and which was established as a result of a long and effective cooperation between the largest Eastern-European plant, Gedeon Rihter JSC, and LLP KPC "Medservice Plus".
· January, 2001 - according to the results of 2000 on the basis of the annual rating provided by the Information-Publishing Agency "Remedium", our company was among the first three exporters of medicines and medical-purpose products from the Russian Federation as concerns the exported product volumes.
· 19th September, 2002 - the 1st Republican Contest "The Best Pharmaceutist of the Year" as arranged by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Astana. The Contest winner was a pharmaceutist of Joint Venture "Medservice-Rihter".
· 5the December, 2002 - the company acted as a general sponsor of the II Congress of Doctors and Pharmaceutists of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana) and was awarded with the citation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan "For a Personal Contribution to Protection of Health of the People of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
· 2003 - according to the year results our company was the absolute leader, as concerns the sale volumes (in money terms), among the companies operating on the domestic pharmaceutical market. The total gross turnover of the "Medservice Plus" Group of Companies amounted to KZT 6,100,000,000.00 or USD 43.0 mln, reaching 15% of the total volume of the domestic pharmaceutical market.

The company's basic activities include distribution of medicines and medical-purpose products. As of today the company is working with products of more than 100 manufacturers and can offer a wide range of medical and pharmaceutical products of over 2500 item/brand names. The company's personnel consist of 577 employees including 233 persons employed in Almaty and 338 employees of the Branch Offices. Our suppliers consist of more than 130 manufacturing companies and plants, as well as distributors from 25 countries of the CIS, Eastern and Western Europe, Asia and America, including 9 manufacturers with which we have consignment contracts. The company has an extended and developed distribution network throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan. At present the company's branch offices are operating in 14 cities such as Astana, Karaganda, Aktau, Aktobe, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Shymkent, Taraz, Taldy-Korgan, Kysyl-Orda, Semipalatinsk, Uralsk, Kokshetau, Kostanai, to cover practically all the regions of the Republic. In the near future it is planned to open branch offices in such cities as Atyrau and Petropavlovsk. Today the company's priority business area is development of partnership with national distribuion companies in the country's regions. The company's regular clients involve more than 5010 organizations such as drugstores, chemist's shop networks and medical-preventive treatment facilities and institutions in Almaty, including 1604 ones throughout Kazakhstan. The company carries out an active work on involvement of new chemist's shop networks both in Almaty and throughout Kazakhstan. Our company's personnel are characterized by such common features as professionalism, love of their work, team spirit. Every year the company carries out different actions to improve its personnel's qualification. The corporate parties, festivals and events raising the team spirit have become traditional. Our company takes an active part in and wins different contests connected with the personnel professional development and cooperation with suppliers and clients. One of the contests at the Republican level is the "The Best Pharmaceutist of the Year". On 21st December, 2007 the Fifth Republican Contest "The Best Pharmaceutist of the Year" was held in Almaty. The contest organizational support was provided by the National Center of Medicine Expert Examination and Association for Support and Development of Pharmaceutical Business in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The winner of the Republican Professional Contest "The Best Pharmaceutist of the Year" was Aigul Baktygaliyeva, the Head of the Trading Department of KPC "Medservice Plus"' Branch Office in Shymkent, having won 29.2 points! It should be noted that at the First Republican Contest "The Best Pharmaceutist of the Year" the 1st place was also awarded to KPC "Medservice Plus"'. At the time being, the "Medservice Plus" Group of Companies includes several subsidiary companies such as LLP " KPC "Medservice Plus", LLP "Medservice-Rihter", LLP "MS Group" and LLP "MS Stock". Now the company is introducing the standard ISO 9000:2000. Certification for compliance with the above standard to be provided by a Swiss company is expected in November of this year. LLP " KPC "Medservice Plus" has been successfully cooperating with leading pharmaceutical companies and selling quality medical products for the good of health of the Kazakhstan population for 13 years now. Our company takes an active part in the development of the pharmaceutical sector by establishing high standards of business and facilitating the introduction of innovation solutions and technologies.
